BORSKY, MARY
BENNY BENSKY AND THE GIANT PUMPKIN HEIST
“Look! Priscilla’s bigger!” Fran exclaimed (the girls had named their pumpkin the prettiest name they could think of). “She is! I swear Priscilla’s bigger! Maybe we’ll win the Great Pumpkin Weigh-off, Rosie!”
“If we win the Weigh-off, we’ll get to lead the Fall Parade!” Rosie shouted. “We’ll get to ride on the very first float!”
Rosie and Fran and, of course, their lovable hairy dog Benny, are sure to win the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off. But trouble comes their way. First, Rosie learns that she has to wear glasses. Then a mean thief steals the contestants’ pumpkins. Worse yet, Benny is accused of a crime he did not commit. Will the intrepid trio of detectives solve the mystery that threatens to rain on everybody’s Fall Parade?
